ACCESS STATEMENTSaffrons is a non smoking 4 bedroom guest house. It is located a short walk (approx 5 mins) from town centre and sea front. The following is a summary of our accessibility. However if you have further questions or queries please feel free to contact us. FINDING US- The train station is a 10 minute drive away taxis are always available.
- The coach station is a 5 minute walk.

PARKING AND ARRIVAL- A residents parking scheme is in operation and permits are issued free of charge.
- Guests can unload at front entrance before parking.
- Guests are assisted with luggage.
MAIN ENTRANCE- There is a 5”(13cms) step up from pavement and 3 steps 7”(18cms) into the building.
- The building is a Victorian terraced house and not wheelchair accessable.
- The inner door is always locked and the door bell is accessable.
- The hallway is carpeted.
GROUND FLOOR- The breakfast room and guest room 1 are located on this floor.
- Breakfast room is carpeted and furniture is not fixed and can be moved on request.
- Tables are oval and chairs do not have armrests.
- Menus can be provided in large print.
- Room 1 is not suitable for wheelchairs due to accesss width restrictions.
STAIRCASE UP TO FIRST FLOOR (ROOMS 2, 3 AND 4)- There are 13 steps up to half landing (room 2) and a further 3 steps to landing (rooms 3 and 4).
- There is a handrail on left hand side ascending
- Room 2 is a family suite for 2 adults and 1 child or a twin suite.
- Room 3 is a double room.
- Room 4 is a family suite for 2 adults and 2 children.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION- All bedrooms are ensuite with large shower cubicles and power showers.
- Completely non smoking.
- Mobile phone reception is good.
